Product Compliance Testing, Coordinated Before Your Goods Ship
Compliance is not a single certificate you buy once. It is determined per product, per destination market and per batch. A toy that clears EN71 for the EU still needs CPSIA and ASTM F963 documentation for the United States; a kitchen item that passes FDA food-contact migration may still require REACH and, where relevant, a declaration of conformity for the EU. Your order ships with a document pack that matches the destination market and the actual production batch, or it does not ship on schedule.
Our role is coordination. We map your product to the requirements of its destination market, arrange product compliance testing with an accredited (ISO 17025) laboratory or with the third-party agency you designate, follow the samples through testing, and prepare the supporting documents from the reports that the laboratory issues. We are not a testing laboratory. We do not issue certificates or test reports in our own name, and every report we forward carries the laboratory's own report number. Our stated policy is simple: we do not produce certificates ourselves, and we do not work with fake or generic certificates. Where a supplier offers a certificate that cannot be verified with the issuing body, we treat it as a defect in the order file.
How coordination works
- Step 1: Map the product to its destination-market requirements. We review the product specification, materials, target market and sales channel, and list the standards, labels and documents that apply to that product and that batch.
- Step 2: Book testing. Samples go to an accredited (ISO 17025) laboratory, or to an agency you designate, such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV or Intertek. You approve the scope and the quotation before booking.
- Step 3: Follow up samples and results. We track sample delivery, answer the laboratory's clarification requests, and report the outcome to you with the laboratory's documents attached.
- Step 4: Prepare the document pack. Declarations of conformity, labels and warnings are drafted from the issued reports, reviewed with you, and filed with the batch records.

What can be arranged
Lab testing services in China cover a defined list of programmes, arranged per product and per market: EN71; ASTM F963 and CPSIA; REACH SVHC and Annex XVII, including reach compliance testing for textiles, plastics and coatings; RoHS; FDA food-contact migration; CE testing under LVD, EMC and RED; FCC Part 15; the Children's Product Certificate (CPC); MSDS/SDS; UN38.3 for batteries; OEKO-TEX for textiles; and multilingual labels and warnings, including Choking Hazard statements and California Prop 65 warnings. Certificates available upon request.
Fees and timing, in the open
Laboratory fees are paid by you directly to the laboratory, so you see the invoice and the report in the same chain. The laboratory quotes its fee against the confirmed test scope before testing starts. Our coordination and document-preparation service fee is CNY 500-2,000 per order. Typical laboratory reports take 15-45 days, depending on the programme and sample queue. Once test data exists, declarations and labels can usually be prepared the same day. Each report carries the laboratory's number and can be verified directly with the laboratory.
Responsibility, stated clearly
Legal responsibility for compliance rests with the manufacturer and the importer. We coordinate the process, match your product to the requirements of its market, and flag early when something is not feasible, rather than letting an order ship on paperwork that will not hold. If your product requires an EU authorised representative, we can introduce one.
